Which cup should your venue choose?
For most cafés, single wall is the place to start. It’s our best-value cup, it takes full-colour print beautifully, and it covers every size from a strong 6oz flat white to a 16oz large. Pair it with our recyclable lids in 80mm or 90mm and you’ve got a matched set for your entire menu.
Step up to double wall when drinks need to sit in hand longer: the built-in insulating layer means no sleeve, a sturdier feel, and a more premium experience. It’s the pick for drive-throughs, events and venues serving larger hot drinks.
Choosing a compostable cup? Match it to your waste stream, not just the label. Our single wall compostable is aqueous-lined and certified home compostable to AS5810: it breaks down in an ordinary home compost, no industrial facility required. Our double wall compostable is PLA-lined and certified to AS4736, which means it needs a commercial composting service to break down as intended, the right choice if your venue or precinct has organics collection. On sizes: 6oz is the strong-coffee cup: a flat white that doesn’t drown in milk (true piccolo drinkers: ask us about 4oz on custom runs of 15,000+), 8oz is the espresso standard, 12oz covers your mainstream large, and 16oz handles extra-large and cold-drink crossover. Most venues run two or three sizes on a shared lid diameter to keep lid stock simple.
It’s also worth thinking about how you’ll order, not just what. A café running through a carton a week has different needs to an event that wants 2,000 cups for one weekend. For one-off events, order once with a firm date in mind and allow for the 7–10 business day dispatch window after you approve artwork. For ongoing venues, it usually pays to size your order to a couple of months of stock, you land in a better quantity tier and reorder less often, and because we keep your approved artwork on file, reorders skip the setup and proofing back-and-forth entirely.
Recyclable vs compostable: what actually matters?
Our standard cups use a thin PE (polyethylene) lining to hold liquid. They’re recyclable where cup-recycling streams exist, and whether that’s kerbside depends on your local council. Our compostable range replaces that lining with aqueous or PLA alternatives certified to Australian standards, so the claim on the cup matches what happens to it after the bin. No vague “eco-friendly” labels: just the actual material, the actual certification, and honest guidance on disposal.

Your unit rate comes down to three things: quantity, wall type and material. Quantity is the biggest lever: the from-prices above are our cheapest rates at the highest volume tiers, ex GST, with a 500-cup minimum to get started.
